Greetings in Christ!
I, Elaiza Marie Atienza Bernardo, am honored to be one of the recipients of the USTEAA (USA) Scholarship Grant for my five years stay in beloved University of Santo Tomas. Being enrolled as a freshman of the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Engineering, I never thought that this kind of opportunity in a simple student's life will unfold before me. I stepped in the grounds of UST as a student determined to make my familly proud and never in my grandiose dreams will I be granted of such privilege that is already changing my life now. This letter may not be suffice to the blessing you have given me but I will definitely show you my gratitude by being the best student that I can be.
Since kindergarten, I've always wanted to show my academic potential to my parents and to my school community. I've always wanted them to be proud of me. My family and my Alma Maters have inculcated me the greatest infuence that a daughter and a student can get, faith in God. God has introduced you and the members of USTEAA in my life and granted me this blessing that I will forever cherish and be grateful of. When I broke the good news to my dearest parents, it seemed that it was the happiest day of my life. My prayers were granted and God has used your prestigious office to make me realize the true value of college education. By this help, my greatest potential in studying will be met. Your recognition to my skills and achievements paved the way for my dream of a brighter future.
Will all that being said, I give you and the rest of USTEAA my undying gratitude for entrusting me this once-in-a-lifetime experience. No words can definitely express how thankful I am right now and I do promise that i will not let you down . I will do my best to carry-out God's plans in my life through your gracious office and I will prove to you that you made the right choice of granting me the scholarship. I have understood and accepted my responsibilities as a USTEAA scholar (as stipulated in the Memorandum of Agreement) and i hereby declare that I am not a recipient of any scholarship grant.
May God pour you and the USTEAA (USA) members abundant blessings in life.
Respectfully yours,
Elaiza Marie Atienza Bernardo
